Intrastate Hourly Jobs
Local hourly non-binding estimates are based off the actual number of hours it takes to load, move and unload your possessions, multiplied by our predetermined rate for a specific number of professional movers, plus a travel charge. Our billing is in 15 minute increments, 15 minutes into the next 15 minutes, we round to the next 15 minutes. There is a 2 hour minimum on our labor unless specified. If an additional employee needs to be added on jobs that are hourly, additional charges may apply. There may be an extra charge on certain oversize or unique items, which include but not limited to: TV’s, pianos, safes, fireproof cabinets and copiers.

Travel charge
Is a predetermined charge based on zip code to get our Movers to and from our office. Your travel charge is listed on the bill of lading and estimate. On flat rate jobs, the travel is included.

Valuation
The purpose of this inventory is to assist you in identifying articles of extraordinary or unusual value so that we will be aware of those items that require special handling and protection. If you have not listed articles of extra ordinary value on this inventory, your signature on the terms and conditions attests to the fact that such articles are not included in your shipment. If through inadvertence or any other cause, items having extra ordinary value are included and you fail to list those items on this inventory, or fail to sign this inventory, you expressly agree that the carrier’s liability for loss or damage to those items will be limited to the industry standard coverage. Also understand that you will be required to provide a written appraisal from a certified appraiser on any extra ordinary valued items or the original recipe of purchase. THIS IS NOT INSURANCE, it is a valuation protection service provided us.

PLEASE NOTE: When choosing the value of your shipment, you must select a level of coverage that accurately represents the total value of the item that will be in the care and custody of the carrier. If you sign for a value that is less than the sum value being transported, your Reimbursement on a claim will be reduced by that same percentage. Item value has to be determined by a certified appraiser, in a written value, prior to move date to be included in a claim.  EXAMPLE: You are moving items valued at $50,000 but you sign for only $25,000 (50%). If you have a claim, this settlement will be reduced by 50%.

Industry Standard Coverage
There is no charge for this basic industry standard liability of “Sixty Cents per pound per article.“ With this Option, if a chair that Weighed 50 lbs was damaged. Honest and True Moving Crew, LLC. would be liable for not more than $30.00 (50 lbs. x $.60).

Full Value Protection
Full Value Protection covers the cost to repair or replace, whichever is less, any household item that is damaged or lost during your move, up to your declared provable value. Complete replacements of multiple-item sets are excluded. See the chart to the above for protection levels, deductibles and rates.

Third Party Insurance
You also have the option of purchasing insurance from a third-party insurance company. Before purchasing insurance, check your homeowner’s insurance policy or credit cards to see if you’re already covered. If you use third party insurance, please let us know.
